Fr. Robert Johansen is a priest of the diocese of Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he serves as Diocesan Theological Consultant and Chaplain. Fr. Johansen holds a Licentiate in Sacred Theology from the Liturgical Institute of the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois, where he is currently a candidate for the Doctor of Sacred Theology. He is the author of numerous articles on theology and liturgy. He is also a frequent speaker and presenter at conferences and workshops on Liturgy, Chant, and the Sacraments.
On a personal note, several years ago, when I was teaching at Thomas More College I invited him to give a lecture on the evangelization of the culture to the students in my Way of Beauty program there and it was through this that I understood for the first time the Catholic understanding of the connection between the liturgy and the culture. I would recommend all who can get there to do so.
